Our STEM Program
We employ comprehensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) approaches in all our
activities:
Science
Hands-on experiments in physics, mechanics, spectrometry, telecommunications, and intelligent
information processing. Design and build DIY scientific kits and solar-powered devices.
Technology
Courses on AI systems, 3D printing of structures, and programming autonomous robots for real-world
applications. Explore cutting-edge tech to bring ideas to life.
Engineering
Develop engineering solutions to practical problems. Design and build everything from individual
systems to complete satellite models using diverse tools and techniques.
Mathematics
Apply analytical methods, simulations, and analyses essential for designing, constructing, and
measuring in real-world projects. Connect math with practical design needs.

Sofia SAT Club is building a national network of ground satellite stations,
compatible with the international SatNOGS network. 6 stations have been installed and are operational,
with another 4 in the process of being built. Some of the stations are fully autonomous, with solar batteries.
Sofia SAT Club organizes regular and remote courses for using satellite ground
stations for educational, academic, and scientific institutions, public organizations, and companies.
SatNOGS (Satellite Networked Open Ground Station) is a global network of open ground
stations for satellite observation, built by radio amateurs and universities. Such low-cost stations, equipped
with antennas in amateur bands (VHF/UHF, L-band) and SDR receivers, provide access to telemetry,
sensor data, meteorological and thermal images of multiple small satellites.
